Updating your school information
How to change your school's name, address, and contact details [Admin only]
To update your school’s information, tap the gear ⛠icon beside your profile picture avatar. Then select “Update school profile.”
Update the fields in the update form. Some fields will be disabled because the values in those fields can be set once (See School update restrictions for more).
Restrictions to school updates#
For regulatory compliance and security reasons, you can only set some school properties once. These properties include:
- School name and stage
- School location data (address, city, state, and country).
Once these properties are set, you must contact our compliance team to change them.
Our compliance team may request necessary legal documents to ensure that all crucial school information is consistent with your school’s official documents.
We do this to prevent education fraud and ensure the safety of students in every Cosine school.
What can you freely update?#
You can easily update your school's contact information inside the app. This includes:
- Logo/badge.
- Contact phone number.
- Official email (e.g. admission@acme_schools.edu).
Important note#
All school information is publicly accessible. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your school’s logo and contact information.
