Onboarding your child

If your child has been enrolled into a Cosine school, you’ll receive an email invitation from the school and/or a push notification in the app.

To make sure your child’s school has all the data they need to deliver the best learning experience to your child, you’re required to complete the enrollment process.

Follow this guide to complete your child’s enrollment.

Install the app#

Firstly, if you’re not a Cosine user yet and have received an email invitation, quickly install the app.

After installation, sign up using the same email used to receive the invitations.

Existing users can skip this step.

Respond to the invitation#

If you just signed up, you’ll find the invitations waiting for you in the Lobby.

For existing users, you’ll find your invitations in the notification screen.

Tap an invitation to respond to it.

Double-check your child’s biodata#

If you’re accepting an invitation as a parent, you’ll be redirected to double check your child’s information.

Please verify that your child’s names are correctly spelt. Also confirm their gender and date of birth.

Again, PLEASE verify spellings and birthdate.

For child identity security reasons, you may not be allowed to modify these details in the future. Changes to a child’s biodata after this stage may require supporting legal documents.

You can upload a professional photo of your child. The student photo is optional at this stage and can be added later. You also have the privilege to freely update your child’s photo at any time.

Add important health information#

After confirming your child’s biodata, you’ll be prompted to provide crucial health-related information about your child.

This would include known allergies, diagnosed medical conditions, learning difficulties, and prescriptions that your child’s school and classroom teachers should know about.

This health information is securely collected to help the school respond appropriately during medical emergencies.

We do not collect intrusive health information. Just the essential data to facilitate an optimal learning experience and welfare administration for your child.

What happens next?#

That’s it! You can now follow every step of your child’s educational journey.

You can stay engaged with your child’s school, be notified of new and due homework, test scores, and everything that’s happening in your child’s academic life. All from the mobile app.
